|''The Colgate Comedy Hour'' - 20 January 1952|
Comedy television from over 60 years ago. Eddie Cantor stars in this atypical episode. Original 1952 commercials intact. A bit of blackface "mammy" stuff towards the end (don't worry, many other episodes of the series did showcase actual Black acts). A nice 1950s relic.

From the Colgate Comedy Hour. Guests: Errol Flynn, Rhonda Flemming, and George Cabot. Abbott and Costello go to work on Rhonda's dude rich. |The Colgate Comedy Hour - 1 April 1951|
An episode of the popular NBC series "The Colgate Comedy Hour", featuring the famous Eddie Cantor. The episode promises "new talent", some of which you've heard of (such as Eddie Fisher and William Warfield), and some of which you haven't (such as Tony and Eddy). In any case, a diverse range of talent appears, both high-brow and low-brow. The picture quality is very poor, though. According to an article in Variety magazine from 14 November 1951, the series cost $40,000 per an episode to produce ...

|1966 TV-Commercial for ''Colgate Toothpaste''|
Another classic 1960s commercial, this time for Colgate Toothpaste. "Mrs Wallace" is worried about her son's cavities while her at some school event, when some random guy tells them about how Colgate Toothpaste "is the leader in reducing cavitives". Cute, corny, clever, but somewhat cloying, this commercial has one problem: the color is gone (did it exist?) and is simply tinted-blue.
